Mylan expects the pediatric pediatric dosing of Bactrim® to be consistent with its branded counterpart. Mylan currently markets Bactrim® (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) in the U. and generic versions of Bactrim® (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) in the U. Mylan’s generic product line is indicated for pediatric patients ages 2 years and older. The generic product has a pediatric dosing of 2 mg/kg body weight, and pediatric dosing of 5 mg/kg body weight.
